The Last Dragon King Book PDF download for free

The dragon king is looking for a wife.

This news makes the women of my town nervous. The King will send the Royal Guard to escort women of childbearing age to his castle in the Jade City.

There is only one condition: the woman must possess enough magic to produce an heir for him.

I am a watered down human with ten percent magical dragon ancestry, I know I will not be chosen, but for some reason the magical trackers are ordering me to present myself to the king as a possible bride.

I’m ready to go to Jade City until my mom tells me a scary secret. A secret that could kill me… from the king himself.

This is a full length fantasy romance standalone with a HEA!

Dragons, magic and a woman who goes against social norms. This book had it all and more.
Arwen is a pants-wearing huntress who took on the role of supporting her family when her father died. He lives on the outskirts of the dragon king’s land and has no idea that his life is being turned upside down by the king himself. With war looming, unknown genetic complications, and newly awakened powers, Arwen and Drae must overcome many obstacles.

I liked how the male leads of the rest of the series were introduced in the first book, but it still stood alone. You’ll want to read the rest after reading this one! I really can’t wait to see what really happens to the Nightfall Queen and if the other supernatural leaders get their HEA.

Get ready for a great read right from the start! No need to apply damsels in distress. Besides, what’s not to like about dragons, right? There’s intrigue, magic, mystery, romance, adventure, and an incredibly independent woman at the heart of it all. This reader loved how it introduced the beginning of the series. He introduced us to the world and the characters involved.

I can’t wait to learn more about the other kings and how they can defeat their nemesis. Get ready for lots of action and amazing FMC! Our girl has a heart, but she will do what is needed even in times of danger. I was immediately drawn to this exciting world… and I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s next!

I swear Leia Stone always does this to me! It captivates me with a unique yet oddly familiar storyline that has me almost addicted to reading on/on the edge of my seat and anxiously waiting for what will happen next… only for the heroine to suddenly become dubious and everything falling apart falls and in the end is predictable and boring.

This whole series sounded great, although it immediately gave me Wolf Girl and Skyborn vibes. The execution was oddly nice…it was all downhill from the whole “heroic” moment of self-sacrifice.
Am I going to read the second book? Hell yes, because Stone always starts and ends strong… but his series endings are usually satisfying.

On the other hand, I think it’s great that the genuine friendship between Stone and Jaymin Eve is reflected in their books. I noticed the nod to Rejected!

Leia Stone’s The Last Dragon King is completely standalone with HEA.

Arwen is really a poor woman living in a small town next to a coal mine. With her father’s death, she is not responsible for putting food on the table for her mother and sister. Arwen has no magic to her knowledge and is just a human coming through.

King Drae is the dragon king. He is looking for a wife so he can have an heir. His ex-wife has been dead for a while and now it’s time to find another one. He needs an heir, and fast. Drae tracks down many women and brings them back to his castle, where he finds the perfect mate for himself.

There was a lot of back and forth with Drae and Arwen, something would happen and she would run away and then everything would be fine. Then it would happen again. It was too much for me, but I still really enjoyed the story. It was a very quick read, with some action, lots of romance and hot scenes. I thought Leia could have made it a bit longer, with a little more detail of the world, the time between Arwen and Drae, and more action. It seemed a bit rushed at times.

I enjoyed reading it and all the supporting characters. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the rest of the series.
