Shock. I am totally shocked. I wasn’t really sure if I would like this book. It’s so different than what Lani usually writes. And it’s been years since I’ve written a paranormal romance. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of his books and own them all. The Dragon series is a really good but often forgotten gem of a Lani read. So what did I like about Suck This?
1. Constantine was unexpected. He has the same alpha temperament as the other protagonists in Lani’s books, but there’s something quiet and subtle about him. 2. Acadia… well, she’s pretty amazing. She is independent and courageous. She also has a quiet intelligence about her that is often overlooked by the men in her life. 3. The chemistry between them is out of this world, but it’s also slow. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s unexpected. 4. The story flowed and had some unexpected twists.
That was refreshing reading from Lani. I forgot she was the author because it was so different from her last series. She is very good at drawing you into the story and making you present with the characters. This one was no different and I couldn’t put this book down.

Get ready to vampire Lani Lynn Vale style! I’m not a huge Paranormal reader but I’m a Lani Lynn Vale fan so I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did. I really loved every second of this book and couldn’t put it down. This is the story of Arcadia Powell and Constantine Worth.
She knows who he is, but when she faces him in his own club, the attraction between them was so strong that I felt it could be felt through the pages of the book. However, Constantine knows that Arcadia is taboo. First, she’s human and second, her brother is the police chief and loves to put Constantine behind bars whenever he can.
However, when you have such a strong attraction, it’s difficult to stay away, and the two of you can stalk a little to see each other when it’s opportune to meet. They both make each other feel things they didn’t even know they could feel for someone. I’m telling you, these two are literally on fire when they’re together. However, what happens when a human and a vampire really do have feelings for each other? Well you really need to read and find out. I warn you, this is a book you won’t want to put down.
