I finished this book in a few hours. I couldn’t put one down, I kept turning the pages until I couldn’t turn the pages anymore. There were so many twists and turns that I was on the edge of my seat gasping audibly! This story was heartbreaking at times, making you wonder if Chase would ever remember anything. Scarlet is a saint for her patience and determination to help Chase get through anything. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was hooked. I will definitely look for more.
I was very skeptical about this. I’m a long time member of Team Chase and I was afraid he wouldn’t do it justice. Besides that, Molly McAdams is a fucking genius!!! I devoured this book in one day. I couldn’t put it down and it was PERFECT!! I didn’t think anyone would be as perfect for Chase as Harper, but I’m proud to say that he was so wrong! Well done, Mrs. Molly! You surprise me over and over again!!
The only thing I expected going into Stealing Chances was that it was going to hurt. And he did for a while. But it didn’t take long for me to get caught up in the story of Chase and Scarlet. There was (a lot) crying, laughing, so many emotions. I couldn’t stop reading it. Only Molly could find a way to bring Chase back from the dead in a brilliant, gut-wrenching, heartbreaking way. A MUST for fans of Taking Chances and Stealing Harper.
So good! “Taking Chances” and “Stealing Harper” were my first Molly McAdams reads, so it was a soothing balm my soul needed to go back and free my heart from all those years. But seriously, it was a great way to bring back favorite characters from the past and deliver a nice happy ending.
